Association of Educational Psychologists

2012 is the 50th Anniversary of the Association and we intend to mark this by holding both the Annual Course and the LA Representatives’ Conference simultaneously on 18th & 19th April 2012. 
 
The title of the whole event will be “Celebrating 50 years of the Association” which will be held at the Durham Radisson Hotel.  A celebratory dinner will be held in the great hall of the 11th century Norman Durham Castle on the 18th.
 
The conference programme for local reps will include:

• Keynote speakers
• Discussion of the most up to date trade union issues for educational psychologists
• Workshops and consideration of case studies

 
Who should attend?
 
The Conference is arranged so that each Local Authority group of members can have a representative present to ‘represent’ their views.  Usually this is the LA Rep.  If you do not have an LA Rep this is a good time to elect one. 
 
If the LA Rep is unable to attend then members in that authority should elect another member to represent them at the Conference.
 
This year’s AGM will take place on  April 18th  at 16:30.
