Broadly speaking, membership of the Association is open only to those who have the necessary qualifications to practise as educational psychologists in United Kingdom or who are currently following an approved professional training course in educational psychology.

Different categories of membership are available, to meet the needs of members in varying circumstances (e.g. Student, Affiliate etc.).

Application for membership must be made on an application form, which is available from the Association's administrative office.

Applications for admission to membership are considered by the National Executive Commitee of the Association.
