The LA Representatives Conference is held over two days in the springtime each year. It provides an opportunity for all LA Representatives to come together and participate in a series of workshop activities related to their trade union role in the workplace. A variety of casework topics are generally covered, and there is also usually a focus on Soulbury collective bargaining developments and health and safety issues of relevance to educational psychologists. The Conference also affords LA Representatives opportunities to influence the development, direction and priorities of the AEP.
Keynote speakers are invited to attend from the wider trade union movement. From 2010, the AGM will be timed to coincide with the Conference.
Most representatives attend on a residential basis.
