The National Executive Committee (NEC)

The National Executive Committee (NEC) is the governing body of the Association of Educational Psychologists and oversees the overall direction of the Association’s strategy and policy position within its respective roles as both a Professional Association and Independent Trade Union.

All NEC members are elected by the AEP membership to represent their collective interests. NEC members help set strategic objectives through the Association’s Business Plan and regularly meet to review the work of the Association and its members in these areas.

The NEC is also responsible for upholding the rules of the Association and selection processes.
