The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists has been working with a group of authors to create a children and young people's mental health learning journey. The consultation for this learning journey is now open. We would welcome your participation in this consultation.

This learning journey is aimed at anyone working with children and young people who have mental health issues.

It will give professionals working with children and young people:

  • an overview of what SLTs do in the field of social, emotional and mental health
  • information on how language difficulties impact on mental health; and
  • guidance on how the different professions can collaborate to ensure better outcomes for children and young people

The consultation survey can be found here. Full details of how to complete the survey are provided in the introduction.

The closing date for this consultation is 5pm on Tuesday 6 October 2020.
