We are looking for a Principal Educational Psychologist with vision, enthusiasm, expertise and the ability to lead the team and wider service forward. The postholder will be a key part of the ALN Team Leaders group, supporting our collective initiatives and service actions. Applicants must be professionally qualified and registered with the HCPC.
As Principal Educational Psychologist, you will help shape local practice, working in partnership with others to drive equity in education and improve outcomes for children and young people with additional learning needs. You will ensure that our Educational Psychology team has the skills and expertise to influence and lead support across the local area.
The Educational Psychology Service is committed to supporting the development and placements of Trainee Educational Psychologists, and as Principal Educational Psychologist you will lead and participate in our culture of peer support, continuous learning and the professional development of the whole ALN team.
We are looking for an innovative, inspiring and solution focussed Psychologist with some experience of managing teams/people and the ability to think strategically.
Due to the nature of the post the successful candidate will be subject to a disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, i.e. a balance of office and home working.
