Wrexham EPS is looking to appoint an Educational Psychologist to join our expanding team. This role involves working closely with a patch of schools to deliver a range of psychological services to meet the needs of our children and young people.
Wrexham Council has both rural and urban schools as well as a special school, Resourced Provisions attached to mainstream schools and Pupil Referral Units. A successful candidate would have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience across a range of different ALN as well as offering their own specialist skills to develop creative and sustainable ways to meet our child’s diverse needs.
Wrexham EPS is committed to developing a flexible service that can adapt to the ever-changing landscape of our children’s needs. The Educational Psychologist’s role is seen as an integral part when supporting our children and internal services and the team is highly valued throughout the schools and the Education and Inclusion services within Wrexham.
Please note:
The ability to communicate in Welsh is highly desirable. The Council is committed to developing its bilingual workforce and welcomes applications from candidates who demonstrate their capability to work in both English and Welsh. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
The Council welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, religious belief or age.
