The AEP has formally entered into a trade dispute with the Education Authority in Northern Ireland. The dispute concerns changes which have been made by the Education Authority to the Essential Car User and mileage arrangements. These are changes which have been unilaterally imposed by the Education Authority and which have a detrimental financial impact on AEP members. The AEP, as part of the Joint Trade Union Side, will be seeking mediation with the Education Authority via the Labour Relations Agency. Any updates on the ongoing dispute will be posted here.
