Lewisham EPS is looking for 2 maingrade EPs to join our friendly and innovative team.

We have one vacancy in our core team that we would like to fill (Years 2 and 3 TEPs please apply) and an exciting opportunity for a qualified EP who would like to take a step towards building their experience and expertise in a specialised area of practice. 

  1. Our core team: We maintain a 33% statutory, 33% school-traded, and 33% projects/commissions/ CPD split across the maingrade EP team.      87% of Lewisham schools commission our EPs and we are actively using the NAPEP Currie Matrix infographic to maximise our systemic work NAPEP | Resources.  Projects/commissions currently underway this year are PINS, Comms Clinic, ELSA, DSL supervision, Reflective Practice in schools, and a borough-wide research evaluation project for one of our Education teams.  We are at the beginning of MeLSA development, and our service development plan focuses on Becoming Actively Anti-Racist Lewisham EPs (BLAAREPT), skill building in Culturally Competent Consultation, engaging in Robust Rationales for Assessments, and Service-Wide Evaluations.   2. Maingrade EP working in the Virtual School: We are also looking to employ a permanent member of staff to provide 1FTE relationally safe practice training to schools and individual child casework support in the Virtual School reporting to our Senior Specialist EP based in the VS.      You would be part of the core EP team and receive CPD, line management and supervision.  This is an already established role in the VS, and we see it as an exciting opportunity for any qualified EP who is looking to build depth and further skills in working with vulnerable children and the wider remit of the VS.
