Enfield is increasingly one of the most diverse areas of London, with all the benefits this brings us across our communities, culture, heritage and local economy. We are seeking a maingrade EP to join our friendly, dynamic and highly-regarded Educational Psychology Service. We have a strong focus on emotional health and wellbeing, developing trauma informed and culturally responsive practice. The EPS takes a lead across several areas across the partnership including trauma informed practice, EBSNA, autism and neurodiversity.
We have a history of multi-agency working, and all of our EPs have opportunities to work within projects and partner services, and develop specialist interests. All EPs have a patch of schools with strong relationships and partnership working.
You will benefit from a supportive senior leadership team, supporting team belonging, wellbeing and work/life balance. There is a service-wide CPD programme providing ongoing training where we can grow and reflect together. Peer and group supervision sessions take place alongside individual supervision.
We have strong links with the doctoral training courses and are committed to supporting our Trainee Educational Psychologists on placement, and through roles as university tutors.
We are supported by a friendly, efficient and dedicated business support team and are based in Enfield Town with free car parking. The EPS is co-located with other Education teams, supporting collaborative working.
Hear from our EPs, and learn more about our EP Service on the EPS website.
If you would like to speak to us about the role, please contact Dr Rebekah Boyd (Senior EP) or Dr Emma Gore Langton (Deputy Principal EP & Service Manager) on eps@enfield.gov.uk
We welcome diversity and multi-lingual speakers who would strengthen our service offer to our local communities.

NB: The AEP abides by the Advertising Standards Agency Code; we believe all our adverts for vacancies appropriate for our members have been checked in accordance with this code, and AEP policy. To the best of our knowledge, the adverts on this website are ‘legal, decent, honest and truthful’. Except where otherwise stated, all posts carry a salary that is at or above the nationally agreed Soulbury minimum for the post. Members should assure themselves that they are satisfied with the terms and conditions offered. Members are advised to consider fully the implications of successful applications particularly in relation to posts which would entail a move outside the UK, where legislation and cultural issues in other countries should be considered in relation to their personal circumstances. “From time to time, the AEP will carry adverts for agencies supplying EPs to local authorities. Where this is the case, we will have secured agreement from the agency that they will not supply EPs to those authorities we remain in dispute with.
