The Royal Greenwich Educational Psychology & Wellbeing Service (EPWS) is seeking a Senior Educational Psychologist to join our team as Expert at Hand Lead. As a member of the EPWS management team, you will contribute to service planning, leadership and development, provide line management, clinical supervision and professional support to Educational Psychologists, Assistant Educational Psychologists and Trainee Educational Psychologists, and maintain a reduced caseload. This role is ideal for an experienced Educational Psychologist or Senior Educational Psychologist who enjoys developing colleagues and influencing service delivery.
A key responsibility will be providing strategic and operational leadership for the Expert at Hand offer, including its delivery, development, implementation, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation. Working collaboratively with schools, settings, council services and partner agencies, you will ensure the programme remains responsive to local need, delivers outcomes for children and young people, and supports the effective deployment and development of EPs and Assistant EPs. You will use stakeholder feedback and impact data to inform continuous improvement.
Alongside these responsibilities, you will continue to undertake consultation, assessment, intervention, workforce development and statutory work, including support for children and young people with complex needs.
Based at The Woolwich Centre, EPWS works across schools, early years, post-16 and alternative provision. About You
You will be an HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist with a strong record of practice, experience of leading projects or service developments, and a commitment to early intervention, inclusion, collaboration and anti-racist practice.
