Educational Psychology in action: Share your work and its impact.

31/10/2025

We would love to hear about the work you do.

We are seeking examples of educational psychologists’ huge range of work beyond statutory assessments. We recently met with colleagues from the Department for Education (DfE), who are looking for examples of best practice EP work happening every day aside from statutory work.

We want to highlight - and celebrate - best practice from our members, demonstrating the wide contribution of EP work across education, health, and community settings. This includes innovative approaches, preventative work, and projects that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

By sharing these examples, we aim to champion the valuable role of EP services in supporting children, young people, families, and communities, and to raise awareness of the breadth and impact of our profession.

While the education departments in England and Northern Ireland are actively seeking examples, we are keen to hear from all members, and to share insights across all four nations' governments.

How you can help...

We've set up a quick online form to help you share examples of work, so we can collate these examples and demonstrate why the EP role is so vital in all settings and communities.

Use the button below to share some details of your work with us - however big or small - we'd love to hear from you.

It should only take a few minutes and we won't share any of your details (but may be in touch directly for more details).

Please email vanessa@aep.org.uk if you have any questions.
