Elections to AEP National Executive Committee

Following the close of nominations on 4 September, we’re pleased to announce the election of two members to the National Executive Committee (NEC):

• Darragh Mullen — Region 8: Northern Ireland (2-year term)
• Rachel Jones — Region 9: Cymru/Wales (2-year term)

They will take up their roles on 1 December 2026, and we look forward to their contribution to the work of the NEC.

A number of vacancies remain unfilled and will go to by-election in the coming weeks. We encourage members to consider standing.

Nationally elected offices (elected nationally)

• National Member (2 year term)
• Early Career Educational Psychologist (Newly Qualified Member) (2 year term)

*An office reserved for a member qualified for no more than 2 years at time of election.

Regional Representatives (to be elected by members of the designated Region)

• Region 4: Midlands - England (2 year term)
• Region 6:  East of England (2 year term)
• Region 10: Scotland* (2 year term)
