EP Circle

Our EP Circle is a space for members to share work, research, ask questions and connect with colleagues.

You can find some examples of things we'd love to hear about below - but we welcome you to use the form on this page to get in touch with anything related to your practice or research that you'd like to share!

We want to hear your story!

As an EP, every day you make a positive difference in children’s lives. Whether it’s supporting a child through exam stress, helping with transitions, or creating tailored strategies for SEND support, your work is invaluable.

By sharing your story, you’ll not only help raise public awareness of the profession – you’ll also support the AEP’s efforts to influence government and policymakers on the issues that matter most to EPs, children, and families. Your voice can help shape the future of our profession.

How you can help
We’re inviting you to contribute to a series of case studies that showcase the real-world impact of educational psychologists like you. It’s simple – just fill out a quick form, and one of our team members will work with you to shape your story.

We’re particularly keen to hear from a diverse range of EPs, including those working in all four UK nations, across urban and rural areas, and at any stage of their career. Whether you’re early in your journey or have years of experience, we want to showcase the range of expertise that EPs bring to the field. We’re also eager to hear from EPs working in a variety of settings, whether in schools, local authorities, private practice, or beyond.

These stories help highlight the amazing work EPs are doing across the UK, and we want to ensure we represent the diverse and important work happening in different schools, communities, and settings.

If you’re passionate about sharing your work – whether it’s a small intervention or a complex case – we want to hear from you! Let’s work together to celebrate the impact of EPs and the positive changes you're making every day.

What we're looking for

  • A brief title that sums up the impact of your work.
  • A snapshot of your role – who you are, what you do, and where you work.
  • The challenge – share the situation in a way that’s anonymised but still gives context to the child’s needs.
  • Your approach – how did you help? What methods and strategies did you use – with a focus on what you did, rather than the theory behind it.
  • The outcome – what improvements did you see? Where possible, include data, but observations of improvement are also valuable.
  • A reflection – what did you learn from this experience, and how does it shape your work as an EP?
  • A quote from you, a teacher, or a family member about the experience (with permission).

Ready to get started? Fill out this form and let’s tell your story!
