This is an excellent time to join Bristol Educational Psychology Service (EPS) as we continue to expand our team. We are looking for Senior Educational Psychologists who are creative, innovative and want to work in a thriving, diverse, and multi-cultural city.
Why Bristol?
Bristol EPS is part of a growing Inclusion Service in the Educational and Skills Directorate in Bristol City Council. It is an exciting time for the Inclusion Service, with new opportunities for growth and collaboration as we follow the vision and priorities of the Bristol SEND and Inclusion Strategy 2024-2028.
Educational Psychologists (EPs) in Bristol work to promote inclusive practice, challenge discriminatory practice and promote equality. We value collaboration and have embedded principles of person-centred practice in our work. Our service delivery model promotes a consultation-focused service to settings.
Senior EPs in Bristol offer leadership, supervision and management for the expanding EPS. They lead on areas of systemic and strategic development both within the EPS, wider Inclusion Service and Educational and Skills Directorate as a whole. With evolving locality-focused working, Senior EPs lead a team of EPs, enabling and empowering individual EPs through the exciting developments ahead. Senior EPs support the EPS to achieve collective goals, in line with our strategy and service development plan.
We are an established team of EPs with a wide range of experience, expertise and interests. We meet as an EPS for CPD, social gatherings and service development. You will be linked to a locality team enabling you to develop a deep understanding of a specific area of the city.
You must be HCPC registered.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
How do I apply?

NB: The AEP abides by the Advertising Standards Agency Code; we believe all our adverts for vacancies appropriate for our members have been checked in accordance with this code, and AEP policy. To the best of our knowledge, the adverts on this website are ‘legal, decent, honest and truthful’. Except where otherwise stated, all posts carry a salary that is at or above the nationally agreed Soulbury minimum for the post. Members should assure themselves that they are satisfied with the terms and conditions offered. Members are advised to consider fully the implications of successful applications particularly in relation to posts which would entail a move outside the UK, where legislation and cultural issues in other countries should be considered in relation to their personal circumstances. “From time to time, the AEP will carry adverts for agencies supplying EPs to local authorities. Where this is the case, we will have secured agreement from the agency that they will not supply EPs to those authorities we remain in dispute with.
