Trauma Informed Schools UK: 2-Day Reflective Supervision Online Workshop

2-Day Reflective Supervision Online Workshop (for professionals who offer supervision as part of their role for staff who work with children/ young people) .

This 2-day workshop equips professionals to facilitate the highly effective TISCUK Reflective Supervision model (groups and individuals). The model enables supervisors to provide a safe, contained, nurturing space for staff to think together psychologically, and explore the emotional demands of work with children and young people. 

By attending the workshop, delegates will:

• Develop an understanding of the knowledge (neuroscience and psychology)  and key skills to run reflective supervision sessions effectively.
• Be offered guidance on how to establish a TISCUK reflective space: online/in person; communication with supervisees; the space itself; pre-session preparation; signposting.
• Actively observe a group supervision session facilitated by an experienced supervisor: the check in; identifying core themes; active listening observation and feedback consistent with TISCUK’s model.
• Actively participate in a group reflective supervision session
• Be given supervision of supervision, whilst you facilitate a group reflective supervision session.
• Have practical experience of facilitating a one-to-one reflective supervision session, using the TISCUK model.
