The Association for Educational Psychologists (AEP) is a trade union and professional association representing members across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We are looking for a partner to help us increase our impact and influence across the UK.

We are inviting proposals from experienced organisations to provide public affairs, parliamentary engagement and media support to our small, dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of campaigns that matter, championing the EP profession, influencing policy across all four UK nations, and improving outcomes for children, young people and families.

• Deliver impactful campaigns that secure outcomes for members and the communities they serve
• Influence decision-makers across the UK nations
• Raise the profile of the EP profession and strengthen its voice in national debate
• Share our members’ compelling messages using your insight and expertise
• Advocate for sustained investment in public services and the EP workforce

What we’re looking for…

• Proven experience in public affairs, parliamentary engagement and media relations
• A strong track record working with trade unions, professional bodies or similar organisations
• In-depth knowledge of the education, SEND and local government policy landscape
• Established networks and relationships across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales
