WCC Educational Psychology Service are recruiting Educational Psychologists to expand their growing team. Are you a qualified HCPC registered full-time or part-time EP or, a Y3 TEP looking for a service that provides a range of opportunities to apply psychology across contexts and systems? Would you like to work for a service that actively promotes a good work-life balance, with wellbeing as a priority? Do you like the idea of working across disciplines and with a range of professional colleagues? Then WCC EPS is the service for you.
WCC EPS is part of Inclusion Support Services, within the All-Age Disability Directorate; this enables the EP service to have close working relationships with specialist teaching services, social care, SEND services and a range of other education services such as the school engagement and school improvement teams.
We have a range of office spaces to use across the County, as well as a designated base in Pershore, allowing an easy commute from Birmingham, Solihull, Gloucestershire, Dudley etc. In our Service, peer supervision is prioritised, and alongside dyadic or triadic peer supervision and we have monthly group supervision time built into our team meetings. We aim to apply psychology within our own Service and embed this into our strategic approaches. One example of this is the Joint Assessment Meetings which enables us to apply person-centred planning and co-production principles to our statutory work.
All of this is in addition to up to 31 days annual leave, flexi-leave system, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, payment of HCPC fees, salary sacrifice car lease scheme as well as discounts and promotions available through the Local Authority benefits scheme.
