We are delighted to be hosting this year’s Annual Conference in person on 12–13 November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, near Reading. This year’s theme, Changing the narrative: the next chapter for educational psychology, has been chosen to align with the National Year of Reading.
As in previous years, the conference will offer a varied programme of keynote speakers, workshops, seminars, activities, and opportunities for networking. Further details, including how to submit a seminar or workshop, can be found below.
One of the highlights of Annual Conference is bringing together EPs from across the community to share skills, experience and good practice, and to learn from one another. Members are invited to submit proposals for seminars or workshops at this year’s conference. Sessions will be approximately 50 minutes, and you are free to structure this time in the way that best suits your content.
We are particularly interested in submissions that align with the conference theme and explore areas such as: literacy and reading; promoting inclusion, diversity and equity through EP practice; artificial intelligence in education; and the impact of social media, including promoting media literacy in children and young people.
Submissions should include a title and an abstract of 200–300 words. Please submit these using the form below by noon on 5 June 2026.
Please note: Seminar presenters are still required to register for conference. Due to limited capacity, only one presenter per workshop will be guaranteed a residential place.
The conference will begin at 11:00am on 12 November and close before 3:00pm on 13 November. The Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place after conference sessions on 12 November.

Registration closes at noon on 5 June 2026. As places are limited, booking may close earlier, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. We encourage members who live locally to consider attending as a day delegate.
Please note: Registration does not guarantee a place. Please wait for confirmation before making any arrangements. Please ensure you are able to attend before registering, to ensure others do not miss the opportunity to attend.
